Four swimmers competed for CMKSC at the British Summer Swimming Championships in Sheffield starting in late July. Max Murphy had an excellent week winning a gold medal in the 1500m Free and a silver in the 400m. He also picked up 3 bronze medals  in the 200m Free, 400m IM and 3k open water. Training partner, Tom Flaherty also has a great week setting new senior county records in the 200m Free and 400m Free. The later performance was good enough to gain a bronze medal in a tight finish against tough opposition. All around sprinter Lucy Farmer made finals in both 50m Fly and 50m Backstroke coming 5th in both also setting a new county record in the 50m Back. Isobel Jones swam well in the morning heats of the 200m and 400m Freestyle but was unable to better her excellent swims set in May this year. 4 other CMK members competed at the meet for their current training programs, Aiyana Lawson and Luke Spain competed well whilst Joss Ulyett and Charlotte Evans won Bronze medals in 200m Breaststroke and 200m Backstroke respectively.
