whatever your ability, City of Milton Keynes Swim Club has a programme for you

Swimmers at CMKSC put in fantastic performances at the Oxon & North Bucks County Swimming, held recently across two weekends in Aylesbury. This year saw further development to the programme as everyone adjusts to the new swimming annual calendar.

CMKSC took their largest ever team to the meet with around 70 members competing, including those in partnership programmes. In the overall points trophy CMK were second behind by a very strong City of Oxford SC team but there was progression as we finished 3rd in the junior points, our best showing in some years. Much of this success is credited to the junior and age group coaches and swimmers working in the new structure implemented in 2014.

There were as ever some stunning swims in particular Ellie Ward (100m Breaststroke) and Yasmin Dos Santos (100m Fly) had huge Personal Bests. Young swimmers (13&U) making age group finals were: Eamon Bradley, Holly Showler, Abby Murrell, Fern Boyden, Amy Delderfield, Ellie McManus, Edith Patey, Lucy Lennon, Leo Hanss, Tyler Reeve, Jack Edwards, Jayden Hill, Jamie Hanss, Marcus McAuliffe and Josh Press.

The following swimmers won Senior or Junior County Championship titles: Max Murphy, Lucy Farmer, Tom Flaherty, Isobel Jones, Oliver Lines, Aiyana Lawson. Isobel Jones did so setting a new county record of 2.00.11 on the womens 200m Freestyle. The relays provided a very exciting finale to each day’s session, with CMK winning the men's freestyle and medley relays and the junior girls freestyle relay.
