A squad of young swimmers from City of Milton Keynes Swimming Club took the honours at the City of Peterborough Meet (COPs) recently, when they were named top visiting club for the fourth year running. This tough competition, for ages 12 and under, saw the club’s young swimmers step up to the mark despite being on Easter break and achieving some excellent PBs and results, keeping their crowd of supporters cheering. The atmosphere was buzzing as the youngsters collected their trophies, beating neighbouring clubs from the Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire area. Assistant Head Coach Lisa Salmon congratulated everyone on a great performance.
Final placings were as follows: Girls U9: Holly Showler (5th); Amy Delderfield (7th); Geregana Eneva (10th); Annabelle Sivilis (11th); Zara Franco 29th.
Boys U9: Jayden Hill (9th); Jack Edwards (7th); Gabe Gullidge (9th).
Girls U10: Edith Patey (8th); Alex Billingham (20th); Charlize Hamilton (28th).
