A squad of young swimmers from City of Milton Keynes Swimming Club took the honours at the City of Peterborough Meet (COPs) recently, when they were named top visiting club for the fourth year running. This tough competition, for ages 12 and under, saw the club’s young swimmers step up to the mark despite being on Easter break and achieving some excellent PBs and results, keeping their crowd of supporters cheering. The atmosphere was buzzing as the youngsters collected their trophies, beating neighbouring clubs from the Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire area. Assistant Head Coach Lisa Salmon congratulated everyone on a great performance.


Final placings were as follows: Girls U9: Holly Showler (5th); Amy Delderfield (7th); Geregana Eneva (10th); Annabelle Sivilis (11th); Zara Franco 29th.

Boys U9: Jayden Hill (9th); Jack Edwards (7th); Gabe Gullidge (9th).

Girls U10: Edith Patey (8th); Alex Billingham (20th); Charlize Hamilton (28th).

Boys U10: Matthew Sturgess (2nd);  Brayden Ditchfield Watkins (3rd); Adam Pentland (6th).

Girls U11: Katie Murray (12th); Nell Blackmore (13th); Bethany Gibbard (20th); Mabel Painter (22nd).

Boys U11: Marcus Mcauliffe (4th); Will Barry (10th); Jamie Hans (13th); Lewis Grosvenor (16th).

Girls U12: Lily Patey (9th); Megan  Blyth (11th); Frieda Keegan (12th); Georgia Richardson (13th); Emily Kemp (25th); Mia Murphy (28th).

Boys U12: Bailey Bedborough (6th); Cooper Tomkins (9th); Connol Keegan (10th).
