City of Milton Keynes Water Polo Team is a friendly team that trains twice a week at Stantonbury Campus. We are currently playing friendlies but plan to join a local league for the 2013 season. We are looking for people over the age of 16 to join and start training. From newbies to long time returners, you are welcome along. For more information check out our team website at www.mkwaterpolo.co.uk.

Who do I contact?

What standard do I need to be?

All standards are welcome over the age of 16 years. Whether you are new to the sport or looking to return after a long break you will be welcome. You’ll need to be able to swim lengths for about half an hour and be comfortable with some contact while playing games.

How much does it cost?

Sessions are a ‘Pay-As-You-Go’ arrangement; about £3, payable to the reception on entering the leisure centre. To join local league you will need to become a member of CMKSC and pay the necessary ASA fees.

Do I have to compete?

Not if you don’t want to; however if you want to join in we play regular friendlies and plan to play in the local league for 2013.

The club has had about 10 people interested in joining since the Olympics started, so we’re really happy we can provide them an opportunity to get involved in the sport. We've also had people contact us about their children playing, so it would be great to get some taster sessions set-up for juniors to try out if there is enough interest.
